“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for.”

                                                                         Georgia O'Keefe

Rhonda began expressing herself through her camera at 9 years old and sold her first print at a gallery in K.C., MO when she was 18. She then studied at KCAI. The "magic" of being able to see and use light on film and in the darkroom gave her the inspiration she needed to pursue her passion as a photographer.

To date, Rhonda has taught classes at a local Community College, joined local, state, and national photography organizations, and continued her development by studying under world-renowned photographers. She continues to teach and be recognized by her peers. Although the awards she has collected since 1987 mean a great deal to her, the best reward is to see or hear about someone else who gets excited about her God given talent to see light, manipulate an image and finally expose it on paper.

"When someone wants to own my artwork it is the ultimate compliment!"
